Abstract: (Elsevier)
We argue that the non-trivial topology of some field theories (including the Yang-Mills case) shows up in the form of an abelian long range gauge field on the quantum level. This leads to confinement in two dimensions and hopefully to the formation of glue bags in four dimensions.- GAUGE FIELD THEORY: SU(2)
