Abstract: (Elsevier)
We argue that the evolution of jets produced in hard processes can be computed perturbatively in QCD up to appearance of a “preconfinement” stage consisting of finite mass colourless clusters of quarks and gluons. All basic properties of QCD go into the proof of this result: as a comparison, φ 3 6 is found to have unlimited mass clusters.- QUANTUM CHROMODYNAMICS: PERTURBATION THEORY
