Abstract: (APS)

The unique ability of heavy-quark leptoproduction to probe constituent gluons is exploited. From recent γ*N→ψN data, the gluon distribution η−1(1−η)p, p=5.6−1.2+0.8, is extracted and αsπ is inferred. It is shown that measurement of σLσT as a function of Q2 for charm production can determine the gluon spin and parity.
