Abstract: (Elsevier)

The data on the reaction γ p → π + n and π − p → ϱ 0 n are compared. The vector meson dominance relation is found to be satisfied at small momentum transfers. There are discrepancies for higher ∣ t ∣ and at the maximum energy investigated.
