Abstract: (Elsevier)

The 50 Cr(d, p) 51 Cr reaction has been studied at an incident energy of 10 MeV. Spin assignments are made on the basis of empirical rules for the J -dependence of the angular distributions for l n = 1 and l n = 3 transitions. Zero-range DWBA calculations are used to extract spectroscopic factors.
