Abstract: (Elsevier)

The relation between the enhancement κ in the E1 sum rule and δg l of the orbital magnetic moment is reinvestigated. The relation κ = 2 δg l of Fujita and Hirata is modified to κ ′ = 2 δg l where κ′ is the enhancement following from V eff . The tensor correlation leads to large Δ κ = κ − κ ′ as well as κ and κ′.
