Corrections to the 3 He charge form factor arising from Δ -admixtures in the wave function are investigated. The calculation is based on a solution of the Faddeev equations with explicit inclusion of the Δ-isobar. The corrections are not sufficient to account for the existing discrepancies between theory and experiment. Perturbation approximations to the Δ -components in the wave functions are constructed and found to be in reasonable agreement with the exact solution.
