Abstract: (IOP)
The author presents a new algorithm for extending the gauge technique beyond the simplest version. The algorithm introduces transverse corrections in an intrinsically non-perturbative way and represents a significant improvement on previously advocated methods. For scalar electrodynamics the resulting gauge technique equation is analysed in the infrared and ultraviolet limits.
