Abstract: (Elsevier)
In a three-body model the 11 Li nucleus is described as two correlated neutrons in the field of the 9 Li inert core. With a zero range density dependent pairing interaction, the bound states of 14 C, 12 Be and 11 Li are simultaneously calculated. It is shown that a pairing interaction which describes well 14 C and 12 Be can describe the binding energy and radius of 11 Li only if 10 Li has a very low, nearly bound, l = 0 neutron resonance.References(43)
