Abstract: (Elsevier)
Collective flows in heavy ion collisions are shown to be largely dependent on the symmetry term of the nuclear Equation of State (EOS). A comparison with data leads to a clear evidence for a strong increase of the repulsion of the symmetry term above normal density. This will also imply noticeable differences in the neutron and proton components to be seen in the transverse flows of light ions.- 25.70.-z
