Abstract:

The authors report on the observation of 41 K/sup +/ to pi /sup +/e /sup +/e/sup -/ decays resulting from a counter experiment on K/sub e4 / decay performed at CERN. The branching ratio assuming a uniform phase space distribution is found to be (2.6+or-0.5)*10/sup -7/. (6 refs).
