Abstract: (Elsevier)
The recently observed p p collider events with large missing p T are studied in terms of scalar quark-antiquark production and decay. This mechanism can account for the observed event rate and the relative number of visible one-jet to two-jet events if the mass of the scalar quark is in the range 20–35 GeV.- INTERPRETATION OF EXPERIMENTS
