Abstract: (Elsevier)
We note scenarios for composite models of particles in the standard model where the absence of rare processes, such as K L → μ ± e ∓ , and the smallness of the K L K S mass difference do not impose as severe constraints on the scale of compositeness, Λ , as thought up to now. We argue that, under these special circumstances a compositeness scale as low as several hundred GeV could be allowed by present data, making it theoretically acceptable to consider the apparent radiative decays of the Z 0 to be connected with compositeness.- MODEL: COMPOSITE
