We demonstrate that multiple scattering on four quasifree nucleons does not describe the recent high-precision data on pα and -πα diffraction scattering at high energies. We analyze thoroughly all the uncertainties of theoretical calculations and conclude that the discrepancy cannot be eliminated unless the ground state of 4 He contains 12% admixture of the 12-quark cluster (bag …).
