Abstract: (World Scientific)
The structure of neutron-rich N = 82, 83 isotones beyond 132Sn is investigated by shell-model calculations with a large model space. The effective interaction determined from the extended pairing-plus-quadrupole model with monopole corrections reproduces well the observed core-excited states in this mass region. The corresponding configurations of such states are analyzed by the obtained wave functions. Experimentally-unknown positive-parity states with one-neutron excitation from the νd3/2 orbit in N = 83 isotones are predicted.- Large-scale shell-model
