Abstract: (APS)
A field-theoretic model is constructed which is asymptotically free for all temperatures and which possesses a phase transition in which masses are dynamically generated. The critical temperature above which the particle masses vanish is calculated in terms of the zero-temperature fermion mass. Our results may be of interest not only in theories of the early universe but also in the study of the formative stages of neutron stars.- MODEL: FIELD THEORY
