Abstract: (IOP)
The authors show that in any spacetime with magnetic mass, there is necessarily a quantisation of energy arising from the fact that wavefunctions must be single valued. This in turn is equivalent to saying that time must be identified with a period determined by the magnetic mass. Limits on possible magnetic mass are set.
