Abstract: (AIP)

A Λ-nucleon Skyrme force suitable for reproducing the observed binding energies of the whole range of known light and heavy single-Λ hypernuclei is presented. Notable exceptions are identified and examined. The approach is extended to Cascade hypernuclei and compared with current experimental data.
