Abstract: (Elsevier)
The thermodynamic potential of QCD is discussed. It is found that the plasmon effect contains besides the g 3 -term a contribution of order g 4 ln g at any non-zero temperature. This contribution is connected with the term proportional to |k|T in Π 00 (k 0 = 0, k , which term is shown to be independent of the gauge-parameter in the general covariant gauge.- QUANTUM CHROMODYNAMICS
