Abstract: (APS)
We show that a non-Abelian gauge theory with Higgs fields exhibits classical solutions which are both electrically and magnetically charged. This represents a specific realization of the dyons discussed some years ago by Schwinger. At the classical level the electric charge of the dyon does not appear to be quantized. We present some remarks in this connection.- GAUGE FIELD THEORY: SU(2)
