Abstract: (AIP)
Bargmann space expansions of oscillator functions are used to derive analytic expressions for SU(3)⊇R(3) Wigner coefficients for the couplings (λ10)×(0μ2)→(λ3 μ3)L 3=0 and (λ10)×(λ20)→(λ3 μ3)L 3=0, with arbitrary (λ3 μ3). These lead to expansions useful in nuclear cluster problems and are used to give a simple form for the SU(3)‐irreducible tensor expansion of a scalar two‐body interaction, an application which motivated this investigation.
