Abstract: (Elsevier)
If the gluino is heavier than the squark and the photino mass is negligible, produced squark decay via q ̃ → γ q . Taking missing- p T events observed in the UA1 experiment as an upper limit due to this source, a squark mass bound of m q ̃ ≳40 GeV for m g ̃ = 2m q ̃ is placed. The possibility that the observed events could be of this origin is also addressed.- ANTI-P P: ANNIHILATION
