Abstract: (Elsevier)
We show that, by a minimal modification of the standard SU(3) × SU(2) × U(1) theory, we can account for the dark matter of the universe. With a reasonable choice of an unknown coupling, the galactic mass scale emerges. We comment on the prospects for laboratory detection of the scalar particle involved and the possible production of anti-protons in cosmic rays.- GAUGE FIELD THEORY: SU(3) X SU(2) X U(1)
