The Δ-hole approach, which has been applied previously to pion- and photon-induced reactions, is extended to the description of inclusive electron scattering from nuclei. We compare our calculations to recent measurements on 4 He, 12 C and 16 O at intermediate energies. Our results are in general lower than the data.
