Abstract: (Elsevier B.V.)
The approach to thermal equilibrium of quantum fields is described. Using a hydrodynamical picture and a Mori (i.e. linear response) formalism, general expressions for the transport coefficients are presented as auto-correlation functions of certain currents. Some results are given for an interacting scalar field.Note:
