If a colored plasma is produced in ultrarelativistic collisions of heavy nuclei, its presence can be inferred by observing that the ρ-meson peak in the mass spectrum of emitted dileptons disappears as their transverse energy increases.- NUCLEUS NUCLEUS: NUCLEAR REACTION
