Abstract: (Elsevier)
A null or Schild string is a string each point of which classically moves with the speed of light. We consider the problem of quantization of a free null string. Contrary to the case of known string theories, Lorentz invariance does not require any critical spacetime dimension for the null string. Nilpotency of the BRST charge confirms this result.- MODEL: STRING
