Abstract: (APS)
The neutrino signatures obtained from extended hydrodynamic calculations of stellar-core collapse are described and compared with the data of Hirata et al. and Bionta et al. The comparisons suggest that SN1987A resulted from the collapse of a small core, and marginally suggest the delayed shock mechanism.- NEUTRINO: ASTROPHYSICS
