Abstract: (Elsevier)
The gluon condensate in the non-perturbative QCD vacuum is characterized by a mass M c that measures its magnitude, and a correlation length a . The phenomenological approach to the Pomeron introduces the strength β 0 of its coupling to quarks and a mass scale μ 0 that controls its form factor. We relate M c and a to β 0 and μ 0 by modelling Pomeron exchange as the exchange of a pair of non-perturbative gluons. We find that the value required for M c is consistent with other recent determinations.- GLUON: CONDENSATION
