Single-Atom Trapping in Holographic 2D Arrays of Microtraps with Arbitrary Geometries

Abstract: (APS)
Holding single ultracold atoms in reconfigurable arrangements makes it possible to study quantum systems. Researchers demonstrate two-dimensional arrays of optical tweezers containing up to 100 traps that can be configured in arbitrary geometries.References(46)
