Abstract: (Springer)
In the Standard Model, the physics of charm meson is not expected to have new physics discovery potential because the CP asymmetries and - oscillations are small. It has been pointed out that the c u decays might have some contributions from the non-minimal supersymmetry, which is the new physics scenario. From earlier studies, we noticed could be violated already in the Standard Model framework, while a similar relation for radiative decays offers a much better test for c u. Here, we present a sensitivity study of the radiative charm decays, and at the Belle detector. The study assumes the full data set recorded by the Belle detector at the (4S) resonance containing 772 million pairs from collisions produced by the KEKB collider. This study will be the first search for the radiative decays of mesons.References(6)
