Abstract: (Elsevier)
We computed the helicity amplitudes for Z 0 →Hgg. The decay rate Γ (Z 0 →Hgg) decreases relatively slowly as the Higgs mass m H increases. As a result, Z 0 →Hgg contributes significantly to Z 0 →H+jet+jet for m H ≳50 GeV. With the kinematical cut ϕ ⩾20° for the angle ϕ between the two jets, we estimated the branching ratio B (Z 0 →H+jet+jet→ τ + τ - +jet+jet) to be around 10 -6 for m H ≈40 GeV and to decrease to 10 − for m H ≈70 GeV.
