Abstract: (Elsevier)
It is shown that the local quantum theory of free fields allows only the generalizations of the conventional (Fermi-Dirac and Bose-Einstein) quantization that correspond to the para-Fermi and para-Bose statistics. As far as these generalizations can be shown to be equivalent to inclusion of inner degrees of freedom, we conclude that the Pauli principle is a consequence of only general assumptions of QFT and “small” violations of it is not admissible.- FIELD THEORY
