Abstract: (APS)
The quantization in a "vacuum" state defined by cosmological boundary conditions is discussed for a massless scalar field propagating on a two-dimensional Schwarzschild space-time. The expectation values of the stress tensor in this state are found to be regular both on the future and past horizons.
