Abstract: (Elsevier)
The phase diagram of the SU(2) L Θ SU(2) R = O(4) scalar-fermion lattice theory with local Yukawa interaction and D species of staggered fermions is studied in the mean field approximation. Equations for the second order phase transition lines are obtained in the expansion that has leading order in 1 d . Two different phase structures are possible depending on the value of D . For D = 2 there are four phases: FM, AM and two different PM phases. For D ⪖4 the fifth, ferrimagnetic (FI) phase appears in the region of intermediate Yukawa coupling. This phase diagram agrees with a Monte Carlo computation for D = 8.- Higgs model
