Abstract: (Elsevier)
The model of the relativistic spinning particle is considered in (2+1) dimensions. It is shown that there are two bosonic or two fermionic states of spin s =± α in the quantum spectrum of the model when the parameter of the model, α, is, respectively, integer or half-integer, and at other values of α there is only one anyonic state in the physical spectrum. The connection of the model with relativistic particle with torsion, whose action appeared in the Bose-Fermi transmutation mechanism, is pointed out.- particle: relativistic
