Abstract: (WSP)
We study the consequences of an anti-unitary symmetry such as CPT for an unstable quantum system described by a non-self-adjoint Hamiltonian. It is shown that CPT invariance by itself does not imply that every particle has an anti-particle of equal mass and life-time. In particular, the neutral kaons KL and KS do not have anti-particles even when CPT is conserved.- invariance: CPT
