Abstract: (Elsevier)
We analyze the mean free path for the multipion states produced in heavy ion collisions. The observed momentum distributions imply that the gas is far out of chemical equilibrium and rapidly expands both in longitudinal and transverse direction.- light nucleus nucleus: nuclear reaction
