Abstract: (WSP)
Schwarzschild-like black hole solutions corresponding to periodic universes are presented and analyzed. In the case of one compact dimension an analytic solution is given. An interesting structure of horizons-within-horizons is discovered when the size of the periodic coordinate is smaller than the Schwarzschild radius. A variational method is also introduced and applied to the case of all spatial coordinates being compact.- black hole
