Abstract: (WSP)
We estimate through the analysis of dispersion relations and current algebra sum rules that the experimentally searched excited state of nucleon with mass below pion-nucleon threshold must have a coupling one order of magnitude smaller than the normal pion-nucleon one gπNN2g_{\pi NN}^2 as an upper bound.
