Abstract: (WSP)
We estimate through the analysis of dispersion relations and current algebra sum rules that the experimentally searched excited state of nucleon with mass below pion-nucleon threshold must have a coupling one order of magnitude smaller than the normal pion-nucleon one as an upper bound.- nucleon: excited state
- pi nucleon: elastic scattering
- elastic scattering: pi nucleon
- dispersion relation
- current algebra: sum rule
- coupling constant: (2nucleon pi)
- (2nucleon pi): coupling constant
