We present the analytic leading-twist three-loop perturbative QCD correction to the moment ∫ 1 0 d xF L p−n ( x , Q 2 ) of the non-singlet longitudinal structure function F L of the deep inelastic electron-nucleon scattering. It provides quantitative information on uncertainties of pQCD predictions for R ( x , Q 2 ) = σ L / σ T .- electron nucleon: deep inelastic scattering
