Abstract: (Elsevier)
We use the non-relativistic harmonic oscillator quark model to study electromagnetic properties of baryons. We show that the wave function radius can be determined very precisely (within 2 ∼ 3% error) studying the electromagnetic mass difference. The obtained value ( R 2 = 2.75 GeV −2 ) is much smaller than that which is widely believed (6 GeV − ⪅ R 2 ⪅ 16 GeV −2 ).- MODEL: OSCILLATOR
