Abstract: (Elsevier)
We report on the current state of our research in the understanding of the evolution of core collapse supernovae. Convection in the post collapse stellar core (proto neutron star) is an important ingredient to the success of the neutrino heating mechanism; we discuss our model and indicate the sensitivity of our calculations to the inclusion of this convective model.- talk: Pasadena 1991/08/12
