Abstract: (APS)
The possible importance of the two-quark operator which appears in the Wilson expansion of the nonleptonic Hamiltonian in models with right-handed currents is examined. Matrix elements are found to be unimportant for hyperon decays, where the Pati-Woo theorem already provides ΔI=12 enhancement. However, such terms are of much greater significance for kaon decay.- SELECTION RULE: ISOSPIN
