Delta+ Pole Parameters from a Dispersion Theory Fit to Photopion Production

Abstract: (APS)
We use our multichannel dispersion-relation formulation of photoproduction to obtain excellent fits to low-energy γp reactions and γn→π−p data. As expected, these fits are quite sensitive to the values of the Δ+ mass. We obtain a Δ+ pole position m−iΓ2=1208−53i MeV. Predictions of the Δ− parameters are made.- PHOTON P: INTERACTION
