Abstract: (Elsevier)
This talk reviews current understanding of the possible states of cold high-density matter found in the interiors of neutron stars — from the crust to the nuclear matter core, to exotic states including meson condensation, normal and strange quark matter, and quark droplets — and discusses observations of neutron stars as probes of high-density matter.- talk: Monterey 1995/01/09
