Local Complex Supersymmetry in Two-Dimensions

A theory describing the coupling of complex supergravity to a complex supersymmetric matter multiplet in two dimensions is derived. This theory also provides the locally supersymmetric and reparametrization-invariant action appropriate to the O(2) string model. It is demonstrated that the invariances of this action account both for the constraints and the equations of motion of the linearized version of the string theory.
