Abstract: (IOP)
We prove a general no-hair theorem which is then applied to the case of a theory that consists of a number of complex scalar fields minimally coupled to gravity that vary harmonically with time and has an arbitrary potential. This establishes that in the spherically symmetric case there are no black hole analogues of the regular boson star configurations.- black hole: hair
- boson: matter
- field theory: scalar
- coupling: minimal
