Abstract: (APS)
Point form relativistic quantum mechanics, a constituent quark model with an oscillator wave function, and a point form impulse approximation are used to calculate the charge form factor of the pion. The resulting form factor fits available data, and in the ultrarelativistic (infinite binding) limit drops off as 1/Q2 for high Q2.
