An erraticity analysis is performed for the data of 400 GeV/ c pp collisions. The new erraticity measures χ ( p , q ), χ q ′ , ω q , μ q ′ and r q are applied and compared with the results presented by Z. Cao and R.C. Hwa. A similarity is seen. This means that the Monte Carlo model ECOMB is a soft-interaction multiparticle production model which can reproduce the fluctuations of the spatial patterns of the final states of high-energy hadronic collisions.
